February 2003 Log

I'm still not dead yet!

...but I am angry. I just received an e-mail from RIT telling me that my Computer Security Lab on Tuesday at 4:00pm had been changed to Thursday at 8:00am. Actually it had not been changed, just downsized. The original lab is still there, but they eliminated 2 people from it. And 2 people from the other lab. These unlucky 4 people, of which I am one, were then put in a NEW Lab section at 8:00am. I take mostly evening and night classes - so 8:00am classes do not work well for me. I also had no classes on Thursday until this change - which would mean that I would now have to go in, for 1 class, at 8:00am, on my day off. I don't think so. I promptly dropped the class and registered for Network Administration - which had someone had apparently dropped recently, because it was closed when I was originally going to register for it some weeks ago. Anyway, here is the new schedule:

So I'll being doing unspeakable things with DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP instead of fornicating with Cryptography, OpSec, Firewalls, and Authentication methods. I can live with that.
