Well my allergies are acting up severely, which is quite annoying. And I have a history test tomorrow afternoon. History is my worst subject, so we'll see how it goes. I was recently informed that I will be receiving a Canon S30 Digital Camera for my birthday from my parents. I am very pleased. I will also be receiving a vacuum cleaner (YAY!). So the house shall have a good cleaning soon...

At least 3 people in my Human Compuer Interaction 2 (HCI2) class have begun referring to it as HELL. As in, "See you in Hell Next Monday." This is not a good sign. I recently completed a Heuristic Evaluation Paper for HCI2, it was one of the most worhtless, useless, meaningless assignments I have ever done. It really frustrates me when I have to write a paper that is entirely bullshit. I enjoy working on something that is useful to someone, or will have meaning. A lab report has meaning. A math problem has meaning. They can be referred to in the future. They can be learned from. They may have some worth to someone. But this paper would have no use to anyone. I find that very troublesome and frustrating.

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Misfit. Misfit is Melissa's ferret. He is small, playful, and very cute. A nice cross between a dog, cat, and rat. Petting him and watching himj play reminded me of Mikki when he was little puppy. I think I shall have to get a ferret some day. And name it Fizgig. Fizgig is a good name for a ferret.

My 3rd week of classes at for this quarter at RIT starts tomorrow. Our week of classes starts on Thursday. Very weird. This quarter I have Routing and Switching, European History, Systems Administration II, and Human Computer Interaction II: Interface Design. Routing and Switching is going very well and I like Professor Mason. She is the wife of Chris Mason of linux kernel developement. She looky eerily like Cassie roommate Sarah, and it takes me about 10 minutes each class to realise it is not Sarah teaching spanning tree topology organisation. History is interesting and my professor in completely insane. He is quite old, Italian, very animated, and talks with his hands. It is like being in a Martin Scorsese film. He seems to be a good professor. SysAdmin is interesting, but there is really a limit on how much one should know about RPC. HCI2 is pure hell. It is similar to HCI1 except a lot more work and the reading is 100 times less interesting. The professor in slightly less annoying though.

I think iI had a mild heart attack when I opened the phone bill yesterday. It was $390.61. Kim has run up about $300 in long distance over the last 3 months. And since she doesn't live here anymore, and has no money, it comes out of my account until she finds a job or settles with her insurance company. This outright pisses me off.

Cassie and I plan to go to the New England Leather Alliance Fetish Fair and Fleamarket in January. So if you want to join us let me know, and we'll see what we can work out. We'll be driving to Rochester from Louisville the first weekend in January and then to Boston on Friday the 10th. So if you like have an S&M, Bondage, Leather, Vampire, Elf, or Horse fetish you should join us.

Last Monday I had a cavity filled in my upper back tooth on my right side. It was quite deep and I was told I'd have some sensitivity to hot and cold back there for a while. It hurts like hell. But I have taken the opportunity to discover what painkillers work well for me. Aspirin works well, as does percocet, vicatin, and oxycodone. But since those last three are strong opium derivatives I'd be very worried if they didn't work. Ibuprofen, however, does nothing - which is annoying. I have suspected that ibuprofen was useless for me for some time, since it never seemed to help my pain before. But since I've had this ache for a week and have taken 1 pill of something every night, I can say with confidence that ibuprofen simply does not work for me. That is all- proceed to reading more important things.
